I was born in 1990 and I was pretty sure I would spend my life working on something related to art or design, as I have been a very observer person wondering how the stuff around me could have been concept and brought to reality. As I started playing all sorts of games as a kid, I dreamed if I could make that hobby, a life style. So someday, everything started to fit when I discovered that I really could transform the thing that I most loved, games, in my vocation. Today I take care my wish can become a reality.
Today I am 21 years old, studying Game Design at Anhembi Morumbi University, where on the first period I and my team created a board game called Homens de Negócios (Business Men), being a type of game highly focused on negotiation, economic growth and strategy. I am pleasure to have made my start on the game design and development a success for friends and game design professionals who have played Homens de Negócios (the game is not for sale, yet).
I am eager to improve myself, my skills and everything else to be a better professional as day passes, hoping to work on a very passionate team, creating wonderful play experiences and developing AAA titles, in a near future.
In my spare time, I try to read as much as I can Game Design and Level Design theory books, game development and news blogs, sites, forums and game reviews, trying to extract knowledge from every corner around. I like to communicate my thoughts and skills to anyone who needs a hand, as I think it’s one of the best ways to improve ourselves as we work as a team. I’ll always be a learner. I’m a supporter. I’m a leech. But of the good side.
“Design”, “Entertainment” and “Fun” are words that urge me, driving me forward.
I also am looking for new techniques, methods and processes to improve my skills. I have to say that games, music, TV shows, movies, art and technology are the kind of stuff I hold close to my chest. Critical analysis and a passionate spirit are carried in my backpack, also known as my mind.
Thank you for visiting, take care!
